1. NBA
It is one of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States. The NBA was founded in New York on June 6, 1946. It is a men’s professional basketball league composed of 30 teams in North America. As the NBA season winds down, the draft is held before the start of the next season. The draft will be followed by a summer league for rookies. A World Basketball Championship is an international basketball event organized by the International Basketball Federation. In 1950, the men’s competition began and in 1953, the women’s competition began. The men’s and women’s competitions traditionally were held separately. However, beginning in 1986, both had their competitions in the same year and every four years.
3. Stankovic Intercontinental Basketball Champions Cup
Stankovic International Basketball Champions Cup is one of the highest-level official international basketball events held in China. International Basketball Federation (FIBA) President Cheng Wanqi created the game and named it after Stankovic in recognition of his contribution to the sport. Each event features six teams from the top national men’s basketball teams or invited teams from six continents, and the event is held once a year.

NBA All-Star Game was first held by the National Basketball Association on March 2, 1951, and has become an annual exhibition game to determine the best players from the East and West regions. The contemporary All-Star Game has evolved into a three-day event called “All-Star Weekend”.

6. FIFA Basketball World Cup
Basketball World Cup is the world’s highest-level basketball competition for national teams, hosted by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). It is held every four years. Its predecessor is the World Men’s Basketball Championship. In January 2012, FIBA announced that the World Men’s Basketball Championship would be renamed “Basketball World Cup”. The 2014 Spain Basketball World Cup is the first World Cup since the Men’s Basketball World Championship was renamed the “Basketball World Cup”.
7. Euroleague
European Champions Cup, also known as Euroleague Basketball (EL), is the highest level of basketball competition in Europe, and the most prominent multinational professional basketball league in Europe. As Europe’s top basketball club competition, the Euroleague was founded in 2000 according to the private sector model, breaking through the business model of all sports leagues at the time. There are 24 clubs in the league from at least 12 countries each season, and the winners are crowned at the Final Four each spring.
